The Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee (PTAC) works throughout the school year to address the areas of behavior and discipline to ensure fair and equitable support for all WPS60 students and their families.
The PTAC is responsible, in cooperation with various district offices, the review and implementation of procedures specific to behavior and discipline are developed and implemented. Areas of focus in 2023/2024 include:
- Review bullying data
- School Resource Officers' roles
- Review Board Policy on Discipline.
- Review Discipline Portion of the Student Support Handbook
The Parent-Teacher Advisory Committee meets publicly the 2nd Thursday of each month from December 2023 to May 2024 at the Welcome Center (also virtually through Zoom).
April 11th, 2024 -- In Person at the Welcome Center, 742 W. Greenwood Avenue.
